Air France has redefined the meaning of luxury travel with the unveiling of its all-new La Première experience — a breathtaking evolution of its signature first-class service. Building on its heritage of French elegance, refinement, and innovation, Air France now offers travelers the highest expression of bespoke luxury, both on the ground and in the air. The first La Première flights will take off in spring 2025, starting with routes to New York, followed by Los Angeles, Singapore, and Tokyo-Haneda.
At the heart of the new La Première experience is an entirely reimagined personal suite — nearly 3.5 square meters of pure indulgence. With a layout featuring a seat, a chaise longue, and a full bed, the suite is fully modular and customizable. The seat adapts to all phases of the flight, whether dining, relaxing, or sleeping, while the chaise longue unfolds into a two-meter-long bed, offering hotel-level comfort at 35,000 feet.
Each suite boasts five expansive windows — an Air France exclusive — flooding the space with natural light. Thick, floor-to-ceiling curtains and a full-height sliding partition ensure complete privacy. Thoughtfully designed by STELIA Aerospace in collaboration with Design Investment and SGK Brandimage, the interiors feature luxurious full-grain leather, plush wool, and bespoke fabrics in a sophisticated grey palette with elegant accents of red and champagne.
The new La Première suite brings technological sophistication to the luxury experience. You can enjoy two 32-inch 4K screens, intuitive wireless touchscreen controls, noise-canceling Denon headphones, and free ultra-high-speed Wi-Fi. USB-A, USB-C, 110V/220V outlets, wireless charging stations, and smartphone holders ensure effortless connectivity throughout the flight. You can adjust lighting, window shades, and seat positioning at a simple touch — creating a perfectly personalised environment.
Dining in La Première is an art form. Air France has partnered with a lineup of three-star Michelin chefs including Emmanuel Renaut, Arnaud Lallement, Anne-Sophie Pic, and Julien Royer. Their menus feature dishes made with meticulously sourced seasonal ingredients, offering passengers a gastronomic experience that rivals the world’s finest restaurants. Desserts crafted by pastry legends such as Claire Heitzler and Angelo Musa add a sweet flourish to every meal.
Onboard offerings are complemented by a curated selection of wines and champagnes by Xavier Thuizat, Meilleur Sommelier de France 2022, ensuring every sip embodies the pinnacle of French viticulture. Meanwhile, bespoke cocktails by Matthias Giroud showcase the finest French ingredients through inventive mixology.
The La Première journey begins long before takeoff. At Paris-Charles de Gaulle, you are greeted at a private check-in lobby and escorted to the La Première Lounge, designed by Didier Lefort. Here, Michelin-starred cuisine curated by Alain Ducasse awaits, alongside treatments at the Sisley Spa. For those seeking the utmost exclusivity, private 45m² suites offer personal living spaces complete with luxury dining and spa access before boarding.
Private Porsche Cayenne hybrid transfers across the tarmac and direct aircraft boarding complete the seamless, luxurious ground experience — ensuring that La Première guests travel effortlessly from door to door.
Every aspect of the La Première experience is crafted to perfection. You will receive elegant comfort kits featuring luxury products by Sisley, while new designer sleepwear by Simon Porte Jacquemus adds a stylish touch to in-flight relaxation. Meals are served with exquisite tableware crafted by Bernardaud, Christofle, and Degrenne, reflecting the finest French traditions of artistry and craftsmanship.
Since its founding, Air France has been a pioneer of luxurious aviation experiences. From the legendary “Parisien Spécial” service to the Concorde’s golden era of speed and style, La Première has continuously redefined luxury travel. The 2025 relaunch marks another bold chapter, combining almost a century of heritage with modern innovation to offer a travel experience unlike any other.
The new La Première suites will debut on select Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The inaugural flight aboard the newly christened aircraft, Épernay, will serve the Paris-New York JFK route in spring 2025. By summer, additional destinations including Los Angeles, Singapore, and Tokyo-Haneda will feature the new La Première experience, expanding to 10 cities worldwide from Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
