Adding to the allure of Madison’s afternoon tea experience was a curated selection of cocktails inspired by the iconic works of Alphonse Mucha. There are two cocktails and one mocktail for folks who do not want to get tipsy.
We went for the visually stunning Alphonse Mucha Vesper which featured Empire Handcrafted Gin, Vermouth, Grenadine, Triple Sec, Lemon Citrus, and 24 Karat Gold as well as the Apricot Parisian Gimlet made with Citadelle Gin, Roussillon Apricot, Orange Clover Honey, Citrus Bitters, and 24 Karat Gold.
While Fleur de Sel Summer Spritz (Mocktail) was supposed to be refreshing. We like our drinks with a bit of kick.
Complementing the exquisite food was an impressive selection of teas from the Premium Dilmah Silver Jubilee Tea Selection, available both hot and iced. You get to get a whiff of the tea fragances through a test-tube style apparatus before making your choice.

For those looking to indulge further, there was an option to add on two hours of free-flow Taittinger Champagne, red wines, and white wines for an additional $78++. We decided to go for the Blood Orange & Eucalyptus and Mandarin Marzipan.
Delivered in an ornate serving tray, we indulged in the exquisite savory selection first and each dish is a flavourful masterpiece. The Lobster offers succulent lobster with rich Hollandaise, a hint of Avruga, and a spicy kick of XO Hae Bee Hiam, nestled in soft brioche. The Norwegian Salmon Tartare features house-cured salmon and ikura on a crispy Pie Tee Shell, delivering a refreshing burst of flavor.
The luxurious Oscietra pairs delicate blinis with quail egg, calamansi, and crème fraîche for a perfectly balanced bite. The Turkey Ham sandwich elevates a classic with soft milk bread, vined tomato, cucumber, and smoky paprika butter, adding depth to the traditional favorite.
The vegetarian Quiche (V) blends curry, potato, and green peas, balancing subtle spice with creamy texture. Each savory treat at Madison’s showcases a commitment to exceptional dining, blending traditional flavors with innovative twists for a memorable culinary journey.

Rich and decadent, the Salted Caramel Chocolate Tart featured a smooth caramel filling paired wonderfully with a slightly bitter chocolate crust. The Apple Yuzu Mousse was a refreshing palate cleanser, seamlessly blending the tartness of yuzu with the sweetness of apple.
A delicious almond cake with a hint of raspberry, the Raspberry Financier was moist and flavorful. The Coconut Pineapple Mousse transported me to a beachside paradise with its light and airy texture, perfectly balancing coconut and pineapple flavors.
A modern take on a classic, the Tiramisu with Coco Crumble featured layers of rich coffee-soaked sponge and creamy mascarpone, topped with a crunchy coco crumble. The Black Pepper Cookies were an intriguing blend of sweet and savory, with the black pepper adding a surprising kick. Inspired by traditional Southeast Asian flavors, the Gula Malaka Cookies had a rich, caramel-like taste from the gula melaka (palm sugar).
The Raisin Scones provided a quintessentially British experience with their perfectly baked, crisp exterior and soft, fluffy interior. Finally, the Assorted Pralines included a variety of flavors and textures, each praline a tiny work of art. These sweet treats at Madison’s showcase the chefs’ dedication to crafting innovative and delightful desserts, making for an unforgettable afternoon tea experience.
