A Bear-y Unique Valentine’s Day At Sofitel Singapore City Centre

Following the success of last year’s “A Table for One”, a unique dining experience featuring the company of a plush bear, Sofitel Singapore City Centre Valentine’s Day 2025 is thrilled to bring back this unique dining initiative. Reimagined as “A Solo Affair”, this year’s edition features a sumptuous five-course dinner available from 13 to 16 February 2025, and is designed to celebrate love in all forms. Just like the year before, you will get to enjoy the company of the hotel’s beloved Am-bear-ssadors as they dine and enjoy an evening filled with warmth and memorable moments. By transforming Valentine’s Day into a celebration for all, this initiative underscores that love begins with one’s self.

Valentine’s Set Dinner at Racines

Indulge in a sumptuous five-course feast celebrating French culinary artistry. The meal begins with a tantalising amuse- bouche of Oyster with Trout Roe and Calamansi Ponzu, where the creamy roe is beautifully balanced by the tangy sweetness of calamansi.

This is followed by a cold starter of Mosaic Duck Foie Gras, a velvety creation that combines shredded duck, with airy brioche and crunchy pistachios for a refreshing twist. The hot starter comes next, featuring Crispy Scale Snapper, served with a rich caviar beurre blanc, golden potatoes, and an earthy morel ragu.

For main course, you can choose between the tender Beef Shortribs, enhanced with truffle gastrique jus, pomme pavé, and Vichy carrots, or the exquisite Black Cod, presented with leeks, shimeji mushrooms, and a fragrant soya sole nage.

The culinary journey concludes with a Strawberry Champagne Jelly, where fresh strawberries are paired with silky ruby chocolate and infused with the uplifting aroma of kaffir lime. This final creation offers a harmonious blend of flavours to wrap the meal up on a memorable note.

The enchanting scene at Racines sets the tone for a perfect Valentine’s Day celebration, where the city’s vibrant skyline meets the nostalgic charm of heritage shophouses. Set against the stunning Tanjong Pagar backdrop, the dining room transforms into a romantic haven when the sun sets, bathed in the soft glow of candlelight, creating the perfect setting for an unforgettable night.

A Solo Affair Valentine’s Day set dinner menu is available from 13 to 16 February 2025, between 6pm to 10pm, at $98++ per person. The thoughtfully curated five-course set dinner is further complemented with a complimentary glass of welcome prosecco for every diner.
