For our recent staycation at The Vagabond Club Singapore, we wanted to indulge ourselves with a little cake love. While browsing the web and social media on some of the renowned cake makers in Singapore, we chanced upon Cake Delivery Singapore – a relatively new player with quite a great selection of cakes. They do this by bringing together the qualified and experienced bakers and their offerings. The best part – they have their own kitchens and fleet of transport to offer fast and reliable same day, midnight and one-hour cake delivery!

Cake Delivery Singapore – Build Your Own Cake!

The indulgence we were particularly interested in was the Build Your Own Cake (BYOC) option. This option was so popular that it is often sold out so we grabbed the chance the moment it was available!

The choices available for the different sized BYOC are as follow:

• • 8-Inch BYOC (10 Slices): Burnt Cheesecake, Chocolate Truffle, Biscoff Cheesecake, Red Velvet, Strawberry Cheesecake, Blueberry Cheesecake, Oreo Cheesecake and Pistachio Rose Cake

  • 9.5-Inch BYOC (12 Slices): Mao Shan Wang Chocolate,Choco Fudge, Choco Ganache, Chocolate Rainbow, Rainbow Cake, Bubblegum Cake, Yuzu Osmanthus, Carrot Cake and Peanut Butter & Jam Cake

Do note that for the 8 and 0.5-Inch BYOC, you can mix and match the flavours from both sizes, however, this may result in the cake being irregular in size due to the difference in slice width and height (delicious slices of cakes put together from different bakers, every baker have their own style). 

The irregularity due to size differences was perfectly fine for us and our final choices were as follow and we requested for direct delivery to our hotel!

9.5-Inch BYOC (12 Slices): Chocolate Truffle, Biscoff Cheesecake, Red Velvet, Strawberry Cheesecake, Oreo Cheesecake, Pistachio Rose Cake, Choco Ganache, Rainbow Cake, Bubblegum Cake, Yuzu Osmanthus, Carrot Cake and Peanut Butter & Jam Cake!

We were so thrilled when the concierge called to say the cake has arrived! The delivery was on time according to our requested timeslot and the cake looked absolutely gorgeous!

Cake Delivery Singapore – The Taste Test

That evening, we tucked into the Rainbow Cake first. We were not sure exactly which baker it came from but it was soft, moist and really yummy. We were half expecting the usual aesthetics only rainbow cake but it proved us wrong.

We loved the Peanut Butter & Jam Cake too! You can taste the rich peanut butter and jam in every bite and just the rainbow cake, we appreciate the cake was moist rather than dry and crumbly.

As there was only 2 of us, we were not able to finish the entire cake hence we split the rest of the cake and shared with our loved ones. The overall comments were really favourable.

Overall, we were really happy with our first experience with Cake Delivery Singapore.
