MICHELIN-recommended Cuisine Cuisine at The Mira welcomes the summer season with a delightful new edition of a la carte dim sum meticulously crafted by an acclaimed culinary team led by Chinese Executive Chef Edwin Tang and Dim Sum Chef Ringo Wong, and a wealth of offers that will bring sunny smiles to guests’ faces – including attractive savings on lunchtime dining up to 30% off and complimentary Peking duck for larger evening parties.
Fresh, delicate and delicious, dim sum morsels are ideal for lunch in the heat of summer. For over a dozen years, Chef Ringo Wong has been proudly preparing dim sum with panache at Cuisine Cuisine at The Mira. Every morning, he begins with artisanal homemade wrappers and personally mixes the various stuffings. His picture-perfect parcels are unfailingly exquisite, elegantly served, and always made fresh to order in limited quantities. By popular demand, he returns some of his all-time classics to the table this summer while exciting with novel creations that embrace the season’s bounty.
The refreshed dim sum a la carte menu is an extensive collection of almost 30 choices headlined by the luxuriant new sensation of Homemade Puff Pastry, Whole 8-head Abalone, Diced Chicken, Mushroom (HK$108 per person). The soft, buttery goodness of premium marine molluscs plucked from South African waters contrast with the light crispness of Chef Wong’s puff pastry. Steamed Rice Flour Rolls, Crispy Bean Curd Sheet, Turnip (HK$98) is another new textural pleasure melding silky cheung fun, crispy tofu skin and crunchy turnip.
The aromatic infusion of Steamed Wild Mushroom Dumplings, Black Truffle (HK$78/3pcs) within a translucent wrapper returns at the request of devoted patrons, delighting not just vegetarians, while Pan-fried Wagyu Buns, Barbecued Sauce (HK$88/3pcs) – a meaty, peppery char siu bao upgrade dressed in a nori seaweed coat – also makes a reappearance.

For laid-back summer weekdays with friends, the all-you-can-eat dim sum lunch (HK$398 per person, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, 11:30am-2:30pm) spans almost 15 of Chef Wong’s most popular miniature marvels, from timeless classics like har gao and siu mai to reinvented traditional delicacies to must-try contemporary bites. The unlimited made-to-order feast extends to 5 types of artistic Chinese desserts. It begins with a palate-pleasing appetiser platter and encompasses a signature rice or noodle dish. Enjoy bubbles from this serene perch overlooking the lush park with the timely offer of 2 glasses of Prosecco for an additional HK$190.

Saluting the summer spirit, Cuisine Cuisine at The Mira adds delicious value to convivial gatherings with the offer of a complimentary Signature Roasted Peking Duck (1 course with pancakes) carved for a table of 10 or more diners, and half a bird for tables of 6. Hailed for its crisp mahogany-hued skin and tender, juicy meat, the duck spreads joy as it is wrapped in gossamer pancakes with crunchy julienne vegetables and savoured. Evening revelry is accentuated by the luscious a la carte lineup like moreish Golden-fried Crispy Chicken (HK$398, half) and seafood creations that push out the boat, such as the sweet-tangy glory of Stir-fried Australian Lobster with Spicy Preserved Vegetables (HK$488 per person); the delicate textures of MSC-certified Steamed Atlantic Cod Fillet, Pork, Mushroom, Rice Noodle, Red Date (HK$488); and sustainably sourced sea treasure of Braised South African 19 head Yoshihama Abalone, Oyster Sauce (HK$1,188 per person).
A complex dish of Crispy French Lamb Brisket, Fermented Bean Curd, Black Sesame Sauce (HK$398) sees milk-fed lamb marinated with secret spices overnight, gently deep-fried to coax a crispy texture, and served with an unexpected duet of sauces that marry the flavours in perfect harmony.
