This July, indulge in the second edition of Sentosa Grillfest, Singapore’s only food street by the beach! Returning bigger and better from 13 – 29 July, Sentosa GrillFest will see Siloso Beach transformed into a unique, 1km-long night food street every Friday to Sunday, with almost double the number of outlets and a greater variety of both local and international cuisines compared to last year, pairing delicious eats with live entertainment. Featuring 21 food and beverage (F&B) establishments from within and beyond Sentosa, you can take their pick from over 100 food and drink options as they take a stroll and enjoy the sea breeze under the stars.
From salted egg yolk chicken and waffles to laksa mentai soft shell crab rice bowls, this year’s edition will see exciting new elements that bring out the uniqueness of Singapore’s food culture, while showcasing new and up-and-coming talents in our local food scene. Look out for:
For those who prefer something a little more conventional, savour familiar local favourites like Hokkien mee, char kway teow and satay. Other all-time favourite food options available include ribeye steak, burgers and Japanese rice bowls.
It’s not all just food, however. Sentosa Grillfest also promises to be a unique gastronomic experience with good music and company, as you and your family bask in an ambience of festivity with fairy lights, live bands, and roaming entertainers, with local acts like The JumpStart, Pam Khi & The One Boy Band, and AnchorBlanc, as well as stilt-walkers and percussionists serenading you all night.
From 8 – 12 August, celebrate National Day at the inaugural Sentosa “Kaki” BBQ, a play on the colloquial term that refers to “friends” in Singlish and “on my own” in the Hokkien dialect.
An easy beach barbecue featuring outdoor movie screenings by Palawan Beach, Sentosa “Kaki” BBQ will offer food that is already marinated and seasoned for cooking, next to communal barbeque pits and spacious dining areas at Palawan Green. All barbecue-goers have to do is to cook their food over a light conversation, and have their dinner set against a sunset by the beach! For those who prefer to let the professionals do the work, chefs will also be on hand to assist in the barbecuing.
In the spirit of National Day, you and your family will even be able to catch the National Day flypast right here on Sentosa while enjoying barbecued treats! It will be a different way to celebrate the nation’s birthday, so be sure to bring your loved ones down to Sentosa “Kaki” BBQ for a night of bonding over a diverse spread of barbecued delights!
Apart from unique experiences at Sentosa GrillFest and Sentosa “Kaki” BBQ, you and your family can also treat yourselves to delectable dining delights at more than 120 F&B outlets in and around The State of Fun.
