Hidimba Devi Temple

This particular temple is dedicated to Hidimba Devi, who was the wife of the strongest among Pandavas, Bhima. This temple is believed to be ancient and dates around 400 years back. Surrounded by dense Cedar forest, this temple lies at the foothills. The beautiful architecture of this place, featuring carved wood and stonework, is best to be captured on your camera. About seventy metres from the main temple lies another temple dedicated to Ghatokacha, the child of Bhima and Hidimba.

Solang Valley

From here, you can get a splendid view of glaciers, the snow-capped tops and also the plains blanketed in snow and ice. In the summer season, adventure activities such as paragliding and others take over this area, apart from trekking and camping.

Jogni Waterfalls

One of the best remote places in Manali is Jogini Waterfalls. The natural scenery of the place is so mesmerizing that you can not come over it. The location is just 3 km away from the main Manali market and transportation is not a problem to reach this place. The way towards the waterfall is full of orchards, pine forests and several small streams. You can take a bath in the waterfall pool and the experience is truly mesmerizing. The Buddhist philosophy of non-violence gets its representation in the unique architecture and the paintings inside the monastery. Rohtang Pass

The gateway to Lahaul and Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh, this pass is a postcard destination for travellers. This of its kind destination is located at 51 kilometres. away from Manali at an elevation of 3980 meters on the Manali – Keylong highway. The activities that you can take up at this place are skiing, ice-skating, paragliding and others that draw people from all parts of the country and outside to this place. Nearby the Pass is the Sonapani glacier and also the twin peaks of Gaypan, the same are famous for the striking panoramic views and peaceful atmosphere.

Beas Kund Trek
