The Marmalade Pantry – National Day Treats & New Cupcakes Selection

The Marmalade Pantry revamps its signature cupcake offering with a new selection of flavours and refreshed presentation. Since its opening in 1999, the homegrown bistro has been known as one of the first in Singapore to popularise the ubiquitous frosted cupcake. 22 years later, The Marmalade Pantry continues to delight with its exquisite, handcrafted cupcakes in a myriad of choices. On 1 August 2021, a freshly baked assortment of five new cupcake flavours and a refreshed look to three perennial favourites will be introduced at all The Marmalade Pantry outlets, including The Marmalade Pantry Petite outlet, opening soon on 2 August 2021 at Singapore Management University.

To celebrate the nation’s birthday, The Marmalade Pantry will also offer a National Day-exclusive cake as well as cupcakes from 1 to 31 August 2021. Featuring local nostalgic flavours, the range includes the Gula Melaka Petite Cake and Ondeh Ondeh Cupcake, of which the latter is also created in a petite version – Ondeh Ondeh Petite Cupcake as part of The Marmalade Pantry’s signature afternoon tea set*.

New Cupcake Selection – An Ongoing Signature Offering New Cupcake Flavours

Delight in The Marmalade Pantry’s brand new selection of cupcakes ($6++ each), an ongoing offering available from 1 August.

The Boston Cream features a fluffy vanilla cupcake filled with custard cream, and topped with mascarpone frosting, 70% dark chocolate ganache, chocolate buttons and milk crumbles. Another new addition is the Pistachio Raspberry Rose, a pistachio cupcake piped with raspberry-rose cream cheese frosting in an elegant rose shape, sprinkled with pistachio nuts, rosebuds and mini white chocolate balls. The Japanese Sencha comprises a green tea cupcake, mascarpone frosting, green tea crumbles, and mini white chocolate balls.

Chocolate lovers can look forward to the Cocomel, an irresistible 55% dark chocolate cupcake balanced with a cream cheese frosting and a topping of crisp coconut nougatine. Another flavour that chocolate lovers will enjoy is the Jaffa Chocolate, a chocolate cupcake crowned with orange frosting, citron marmalade, and a 70% dark chocolate button.

Perennial Favourites With A Refreshed Look

In addition to the new cupcake flavours, The Marmalade Pantry has also refreshed the presentation of its perennial favourites. The delightful Hazel, a chocolate cupcake with hazelnut spread now dons mosaic chocolate shards made with white chocolate, cocoa nibs, and crushed toasted hazelnuts.

Not to be missed is the Limonata, a lemon cupcake laced with lemon icing, and a new topping of Himalayan pink salt and a slice of dehydrated lemon. The fruity Cranberry Lychee, a lychee cupcake with cranberry-lychee cream cheese is finished with ruby white chocolate shards, consisting of white chocolate, ruby chocolate, and dried cranberries.

Gula Melaka Petite Cake and Ondeh Ondeh Cupcakes, exclusive for National Day

Do not miss out on The Marmalade Pantry’s National Day-exclusive cake and cupcakes, available for a limited time from 1 to 31 August 2021. Featuring local nostalgic flavours, these delectable sweets are a perfect treat to enjoy with family, friends and loved ones over the long celebratory weekend.

Also specially created for the occasion, the Ondeh Ondeh Cupcake ($6++) encapsulates all the flavours of the well-loved local snack. At the core is gula melaka encased in a dark chocolate truffle shell, and the cupcake is topped with a pandan frosting made with white chocolate, coconut milk and pandan. The finishing touch is a generous coating of fresh coconut shavings. A petite version of the cupcake is exclusively available as part of The Marmalade Pantry’s signature afternoon tea set ($54++ for two persons) ensemble, which is only available at the Downtown and Novena outlets.

The Marmalade Pantry’s new cupcakes are available at all outlets and online from 1 August 2021. The exclusive National Day cake and cupcakes are available from 1 to 31 August 2021.

Please allow a minimum of 3 business days (excluding the day of delivery) for orders to be processed and delivery arrangements to be confirmed. Orders received after 1pm will be confirmed the next business day.
