Mercure Kyoto Station is the first Mercure branded hotel in the Kansai region. Playful design elements can be found throughout the stylish interiors. Trattoria M Kyoto, a live kitchen-style bistro restaurant and bar, will offer dining choices throughout the day. Guests can also unwind in the exclusive underground lounge which is inspired by gagaku, a type of Japanese classical music performed at the Imperial Court in Kyoto since the 7th century. The lounge will feature original furniture from the Heian period and books providing insights into the ancient traditions of Japan.
