Based on the novel *Le Fantôme de l’Opéra* by Gaston Leroux, The Phantom of the Opera tells the haunting love story of a disfigured musical genius, known as the Phantom, who falls in love with the beautiful soprano, Christine. Set in the depths of the Paris Opera House, this masterpiece weaves themes of passion, jealousy, and redemption into a dramatic narrative, brought to life by Andrew Lloyd Webber’s unforgettable score.
The production features some of the most iconic songs in musical theatre, including “The Music of the Night,” “All I Ask of You,” and the titular “The Phantom of the Opera.” Audiences will be transported into the world of the mysterious Phantom through elaborate costumes, a mesmerizing set, and a cast of 37 international performers, led by Jonathan Roxmouth as the Phantom and Grace Roberts as Christine.
Since its debut in London’s West End in 1986, The Phantom of the Opera has played to over 160 million people across 47 countries and 195 cities. It holds the record as Broadway’s longest-running show and has won over 70 major theatre awards worldwide. This 2025 Singapore run is part of the International Tour, which will take the production through several countries across Asia.
