Rainforest comes alive with the launch of Rainforest Wild Asia Singapore, an immersive new wildlife park at Mandai Wildlife Reserve. Officially opening to the public on 12 March 2025, this adventure-based zoological park offers an unparalleled experience of Southeast Asia’s biodiverse rainforests, featuring multi-layered habitats, interactive trails, and thrilling adventure activities. According to Mike Barclay, Group CEO of Mandai Wildlife Group, Rainforest Wild Asia is built on three core pillars:

Rainforest Wild Asia’s Wildlife & Conservation Efforts

The park is home to 36 species, including rare and endangered animals such as the elusive Malayan tiger, the Malayan sun bear, the Francois’ langur, and the Philippine spotted deer. These species are housed in expansive, open-concept habitats designed to mimic their natural rainforest homes.

Animal welfare has been a top priority in preparing for the park’s launch. Over the last 18 months, meticulous planning has gone into ensuring a smooth transition for the animals, with two months of gradual acclimatisation. Upon arrival, animals are first housed in off-exhibit dens for close monitoring before being introduced to their new environments at their own pace.

Single-park admission is at the full price of $43 for adults, $31 for children (aged 3 to 12 years old) and $20 for local senior citizens. To celebrate the upcoming opening, local residents can enjoy a special admission rate of $33 for adults, $21 for children (aged 3 to 12 years old) for Rainforest Wild Asia from 12 February to 31 March 2025.
