Sing Swee Kee (新瑞记) was launched in 2001 with its flagship restaurant at the famous Hainan 3rd Street across Raffles Hotel (now known as Seah Street). For over two decades, Sing Swee Kee has been a hit amongst locals and tourists for its authentic take on traditional Hainanese Chicken Rice and other delicious Hainanese dishes.
An innovative brand that is constantly delighting diners with new and delicious creations (such as the introduction of the bite-size fried chicken rice balls in 2021), Sing Swee Kee is quick to put into action to launch three new flavours for its Fried Chicken Cutlet Rice, in response to the possible disruption of fresh chicken supply in Singapore.
Joining the existing Lemon Chicken option are three new yummy flavours – Original, Mala and Curry. Each chicken cutlet fried is to golden perfection – with each bite, you get the perfect balance of crunchy skin with soft and juicy chicken meat. Paired with the fragrant Hainanese chicken rice ball and in-house chilli sauce, it’s a flavour bomb bursting in your mouth.
The Original flavour is created using Sing Swee Kee’s secret in-house roasted chicken seasoning, while the Mala and Curry flavours are made using a blend of aromatic herbs and spices that is sure to cater to Singaporean’s love for spice.
Treasure Trove Of Authentic Hainanese Cuisine
Besides chicken rice and all its accompaniments, Sing Swee Kee is also the restaurant of choice for all your other Hainanese food cravings. After months of research and development, Sing Swee Kee is also launching another Hainanese food classic i.e. the Hainanese Herbal Mutton Soup.
Brewed for hours, the soup is rich in depth of flavours with chunks of mutton meat, dried black fungus, beancurd and dried beancurd. Nourishing and comforting, the Hainanese Herbal Mutton Soup is the go-to soul food when you need a pick-me-up or a taste of homely goodness.
Other must-try Hainanese dishes at Sing Swee Kee include the Coconut Chicken Soup,
Hainanese Pork Chop
and the Hainan Kueh Sundae Ice Cream.
The Sing Swee Kee Fried Chicken Cutlet is available at all its restaurant and outlets from 6 June 2022 and is priced at $5.00 for the cutlet (ala-carte) and $5.50 with rice.
The Hainanese Herbal Mutton soup is available only at the Sing Swee Kee Restaurant from 15 June 2022 and is priced at $18.80 (small) and $28.80 (medium).
