Taking centre stage as the legendary Norma Desmond is none other than Sarah Brightman, marking her first-ever musical theatre performance in Singapore. Brightman, famed for originating the role of Christine in The Phantom of the Opera and recognised as the world’s best-selling soprano, is set to captivate audiences with her portrayal of Norma Desmond—a character that embodies faded Hollywood glory and unfulfilled ambition. “I am thrilled to be making my Asian theatrical debut with SUNSET BOULEVARD in Singapore,” said Brightman, reflecting her enthusiasm for this iconic role and her affection for Singapore as a city.

SUNSET BOULEVARD tells the gripping tale of Norma Desmond, a once-celebrated silent movie star grappling with her fall from fame.
