A Culinary Vision Rooted in Heritage

Hansik, which means “Korean cuisine,” celebrates the essence of traditional Korean dining, crafted by founder and chef-owner Ms. Eon Lee. A pioneer in Singapore’s Korean dining scene, Ms. Lee first introduced Korean Fried Chicken with Kko Kko Na Ra in 2008, sparking a culinary revolution in Tanjong Pagar’s Koreatown. Together with her niece and co-founder, Ms. Annabelle Lee, they bring heirloom recipes and a passion for Korean culture to this innovative dining destination.

Go Gi Jip Premium Korean BBQ: Relocated from Tanjong Pagar, Go Gi Jip offers stone-grilled BBQ using premium cuts like Iberico pork and black pork. Highlights include their famed Ganjang Gejang (soy-marinated raw crab), a delicacy sourced from Yeonpyeong Island in Korea.

Halmae Gukbab: Specialising in traditional soups, Halmae Gukbab serves dishes like Dwaeji Gukbab (pork soup with rice) and Dak Gomtang (chicken soup with ginseng). Inspired by 60-year-old family recipes, these hearty soups are slow-cooked for deep, comforting flavours.

Hanyang Bulgogi: A celebration of Korean Royal Cuisine, this concept features dishes like Bulgogi Jungol, a bubbling hotpot of marinated beef, vegetables, and glass noodles, and Jeolla-do-style Bibimbap served on hot stone plates.

The Second Floor: Kko Kko Na Ra and Bars

On the second floor, diners can enjoy Kko Kko Na Ra, Singapore’s original Korean fried chicken brand. Famous for its signature Garlic Soy Chicken, the restaurant also serves kimchi jjigae, army stew, seafood pancakes, and a variety of fried chicken flavours like Mala, Honey Shiok, and Cheese Sprinkle.

The floor also houses two distinct bars: Chung Sa Cho Rong, a traditional Korean bar, and My Patio, a modern space offering Korean craft beers. Together, they cater to both traditional and contemporary tastes.
