Having just experienced a wonderful weekend stay in a two-bedroom apartment at the newly refreshed Great World Residences, I was genuinely impressed – not only by the spaciousness and thoughtful design of the apartment but also by the impeccable location, outstanding amenities, and the rare blend of comfort and convenience it offers right in the heart of Singapore.

Upon arrival, we were delighted to find a thoughtful welcome gift kit waiting for us in the apartment. The residence is just a convenient three-minute sheltered walk from Great World MRT station on the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL), offering effortless connections to Orchard Road, Shenton Way, Marina Bay, Gardens by the Bay, and even East Coast Park. Whether you’re travelling for business or leisure, having such direct connectivity to key locations across the city is undoubtedly beneficial.

We enjoyed dinner at Shake Shack on our first night, followed by a delightful brunch the next day with freshly made Japanese Sandos from PIPES by HATTENDO. With a diverse range of offerings—from artisanal coffee and international cuisines to wellness services and everyday essentials—everything we needed was conveniently within reach.

The neighbourhood itself is vibrant, surrounded by popular areas like River Valley, Orchard, Robertson Quay, and Chinatown. Practical amenities like a washer and dryer, ironing board, digital safe, and complimentary children’s cutlery and baby cots (available upon request) made the stay even more comfortable. The ensuite master bathroom featured both a bathtub and a separate rain shower, adding an extra touch of luxury rarely found elsewhere.

I also appreciate how they have incorporated the area’s rich history into the interior design, adding a unique sense of charm and character. Given the generous space, premium amenities, central location, flexible stay options, and the excellent hospitality provided, Great World Residences presents exceptional value, especially for both short and extended stays.
